The Open University of Israel and the Hellenic Open University sign a MoU to foster academic cooperation

 
On July 9th 2023, Prof. Ioannis Kalavrouziotis, President of the Hellenic Open University and Prof. Mimi Ajzenstadt, President of the Open University of Israel, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions. The signing of this MoU paves the way for a fruitful academic and research collaboration in the fields of research, development of master's degree courses and exchange of academic and administrative staff members.
During the meeting, the presidents discussed the common challenges both institutions face as open universities, including distance education, students' evaluation etc.

Prof. Kalavrouziotis also met with Prof. Guy Miron, OUI's Vice President, Prof. Ofer Reany, Dean of Research, Amir Winer, Director of the Digital Innovation Studios, Prof. Dorit Olenik-Shemesh, Head of the Center for Research on Innovation in Learning Technologies, Prof. Jonathan Granot, researcher at ARCO, and Dr. Orli Lachmi, research fellow at the Environmental and Sustainability Research Center.
