Prof. Judith Gal-Ezer

Prof. Judith Gal-Ezer, a senior faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Open University, was appointed the head of the ACM Europe Education Committee    - The Association for Commuting Machinery - ACM is an international professional organization dedicated to promoting the field of computing. Founded in 1947, ACM is the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, serving computing professionals and students worldwide.
 
ACM has a wide range of activities and initiatives, including organizing conferences and events, publishing research articles and journals, providing opportunities for professional development, and supporting educational programs. ACM also advocates for public policy that will benefit the computing community and society as a whole.
 
As the head of the Education Committee ACM Europe, Prof. Gal-Ezer's role is to promote and support the teaching of computer science throughout Europe, accompanied by research and its application.
