Microsoft Event

The project was led by Dr. Shir Landau-Faibish, a senior faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Open University, and Nadav Benno, the workshop's teaching coordinator.

In the concluding meeting held at the Microsoft campus in Herzliya, the students met with the mentors who accompanied them in the workshop: Adi Weisser, Daniel Shapira, Netanel Savion and Shimon Shimoni. The students presented their final project and experimented with the tools and applications they created.

The participants heard a fascinating lecture on OpenAI by Benny Atiya, an expert in Azure solutions from Microsoft's Education Team, and met with Prof. Mimi Ajsenstadt and Michal Center, respectively the President and Dean of Students of the Open University.

A big thank you to May Itzhak, leader of education training programs at Microsoft, to the mentors and lecturers for their cooperation, and to the team leading the "Learning Integrates Experience" program at the Open University: Dr. Ronit Waismel-Manor from the Department of Economics and Management, Michal Goldright and Tsala David, from the Dean of Students.
