A delegation from Africa visits the Open U

 
On June 19th, 2024, a delegation of nine representatives from several African higher education institutions visited the Open University's campus.
The delegation, which included both executives and scholars from institutions such as the National Open University of Nigeria and the Moshi Co-operative University of  Tanzania, was greeted by Prof. Inbal Ofer, Dean of Development and by Efrat Livne, the Open University's spokesperson.

The visit's goal was to get acquainted with the Open University's pedagogical model and to set the basis for future cooperation.
Following a general presentation about the University, its mission, academic departments and research, the visit included a presentation of the Open University's learning environment and course development by Dr. Ofra Haneman, Director of the Digital Learning Department and a tour of the video studios.
