Prof. Ina Blau, Ph.D. is a Professor (Full) in the Department of Education and Psychology at the Open University of Israel. She examines the interplay between the areas of Educational Technology and Cyber-Psychology. Her research focuses on understanding of how human behavior and communication are influenced by the ubiquitous use of digital technologies, and how to use these technologies effectively to enhance learning, teaching, training and assessment processes.

Prof. Blau is the Dean of Academic Development and Learning Technologies and the Head of the Graduate Program in Education: Learning Technologies and Learning Systems at the OUI. She is also the former Head of the Research Center for Innovation in Learning Technologies. She participates in committees related to digital learning of the Council for Higher Education and is a member of the Editorial Board of the leading journal in the field - The Internet and Higher Education. She has won and led national-level research grants and received several international prizes for her publications.

Prof. Blau has published more than 60 book chapters and research articles in prestigious international journals, including Computers and Education, The Internet and Higher Education, Computer-Assisted Learning, British Journal of Educational Technology, and Computers in Human Behavior. Her publications are well-cited (see Google Scholar). Prof. Blau has supervised doctoral students and dozens of Master students, some of whom had continued to PhD studies in other universities in Israel and US.
