Areas of Interest
  • Quantum gravity
  • Black hole thermodynamics

My research focuses on thermodynamics of space-time and its relevance to  the foundational aspects of quantum gravity. I am particularly interested in the implication of spatial foliation on the expected theory of quantum gravity. Since 2005, I have been a Course Coordinator in various undergraduate physics courses at the Open University of Israel.

1995 - 2001
Ph.D., Physics, Tel Aviv University
1991 - 1994
M.Sc. with honors, Physics, Hebrew University
1986 - 1989
B.Sc., Physics , Tel Aviv University
2004 - present
Course Coordinator, The Open University, Israel

2010 - 2012 Extended Wald entropy, Research Authority,The Open University

2009 - 2010 Black Hole Thermodynamics and Wald entropy, Research Authority,The Open University

2007 - 2009 Wald and Entanglement Entropy,Research Authority,The Open University
