Senior Research Associate
Dr. Shula Goulden is a senior research fellow at the Environmental and Sustainability Research Center, the Open University of Israel and an affiliated lecturer at the School of Sustainability at Reichman University. She holds a degree in geography from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in environmental policy from the London School of Economics and a PhD from Ben Gurion University in Israel, where she studied the emergence of environmental policy for sustainable construction. Her research interests focus on environmental policy tools and governance in urban settings, drawing on perspectives from geography, public policy and science and technology studies. She combines research and teaching with projects advocating for the strengthening of the role of academia in addressing climate change, via the Tel Aviv University Climate Crisis Initiative.
