נוירוביולוגיה הוא ענף בין-תחומי שעניינו חקר המוח ומערכת העצבים והוא נמצא כיום בקדמת המחקר במדעי החיים. ענף זה עוסק בהיבטים שונים של פעילות מערכת העצבים החל מהרמה המולקולרית והתאית ועד רמת המוח, האורגניזם וההתנהגות.
במשך הלימודים בקורס יתעמקו הסטודנטים בנושא אחד מרשימת הנושאים העוסקים בהיבטים הללו, יסקרו את ספרות המחקר הקיימת בנושא, יכתבו עבודה סמינריונית ויציגו את עבודתם בפני המדריך ובפני עמיתיהם ללימודים בקורס.

Neurobiology is an interdisciplinary branch of biology concerned with the study of the brain and the nervous system and is currently at the forefront of research in the life sciences. This branch deals with various aspects of the activity of the nervous system from the molecular and cellular levels to the levels of the brain, organism and behavior.
During the course, the students will delve into one of the topics dealing with these aspects, review the existing research literature on the topic, write a seminar paper and present their work to the instructor and to students in the course.
