To optimize this process, educational dashboards have been developed in recent years, through which a variety of information is accessed, to promote data-based decision-making. In this qualitative study, which is part of a broader research project, we focused on the actions required at the systemic level to implement the dashboard in schools as a means of promoting data-based decision-making processes. The study was conducted in Uruguay, where a dashboard was developed to make data accessible to policymakers and school administrators in the first stage, and later - to teachers. The study included interviews in focus groups of principals (n=27), teachers (n=22) and policymakers (n=9), using protocols that were adapted to both the role and the use of the dashboard. The translation of the interview transcripts involved using an AI-based chatbot and comparing it with a professional-human transcript. The data analysis led to four themes: policy, platform improvement, professional development, and technical. As findings suggest, these themes are expressed to a different extent among the different groups of stakeholders. The research findings highlight the need for actions at the systemic level, aimed to optimally implement the dashboard in schools.
